Installation Technician (Fitter)

As an Installation Technician (Fitter) for GX Modular you'll be assembling precision- engineered micro-homes and garden annexes in customer locations across SE England.

Whilst we provide full training for the role, you'll already demonstrate good technical proficiency with general carpentry/problem-solving skills being essential. You have a can-do attitude, a real eye for detail, customer-friendly demeanour and the ability to work in all weathers.

Each annexe is precision manufactured in component-form in our Suffolk factory and delivered to site. As part of a small team, you'll have between 1-2 weeks to assemble components and commission each annexe, typically in a customers garden.

This role is multi-discipline, working away with practical hands-on assembly

• On-site assembly of precision timber components

• 1st & 2nd Fix

• Window fitting

• Commissioning each annexe, ready for hand over to client

• Installations across SE England

• Company pre-arranges all accommodation and provides vehicle/transport.

• Weekend working is rare

This role involves working away with all accommodation organised by the office.

The correct candidate will demonstrable a suitable technical background with practical hands-on experience, ideally in construction or similar with convertible skills

Salary: From £40,000-42,000.00 per year plus monthly bonuses
