Garden Annexe Materials

Garden Annexes are constructed from 300mm x 45mm Baltic Spruce CLT (cross laminated timber, also known as Glulam) for an end product with great structural strength, longevity and rigidity.

Floors are based on 150mm glulam joists on 400mm centres, with 100mm polyisocyanurate insulation for warmth and comfort. 18mm T&G floor boards are finished with your choice of flooring.

Wall plates, floor plates and wall studs are all on 145mm CLT chassis with 100mm polyisocyanurate insulation provide a solid and chunky feel to each Garden Annexe.

The structure is wrapped in Tyvek Fire resistant membrane, sheathed with OSB3 and lined with 15mm fire resistant MDF, for real peace of mind. The ceiling is fitted with integral LEDs, topped with 100mm polyisocyanurate insulation with an 18mm OSB3 substrate under a Firestone EDPM monopitch rubber roof for a long and trouble free life.

Windows and doors are all fully double glazed with multipoint locks that conform to TS007:2012
